Event Season 2022
The event season started for Poppet and I at Poplar Park Horse Trials in the BENovice. Our dressage has improved greatly over the winter months and we came out with a score of 30 for our first dressage of the season. Next came show jumping, it was our first time jumping on grass of the season but we came away with a clear round to be in 3rd heading into cross country. We finished the day with a great clear across the country with some time faults dropping us to 8th. After Poplar we headed to Great Witchingham at the end of March to do another BENovice. Another good dressage test for a score of 33.5 and another clear show jumping round; cross country had a few challenges to face but we flew round clear with a few time faults dropping us from 3rd to 5th. Our latest run was at South of England with another BENovice at the start of April. Unfortunately an unsettled dressage but still a good score of 33.
